The $500 housing deposit completes the application, demonstrates intent to live on campus, and is used to offset any applicable damage charges after vacating. University Housing will refund deposits to students based on the dates outlined on the Applications & Assignments webpage. The $100 application charge is non-refundable.

At the conclusion of the academic year in May, deposits will be refunded to residents who have fulfilled the academic year contract OR they will roll over to the next contract term (for those who plan to return to the residence halls or University apartments).
