Conference & Event Services is a proud employer of over 200 CSU students in various position opportunities available throughout the year. We provide flexible work schedules, professional development opportunities, and a fun work environment throughout employment.

Housing & Dining Facilities is hiring up to 85 students primarily for the Environmental Building Services role, cleaning & prepping rooms and apartments, and more limited Maintenance roles including painting and minor repairs from mid-May to mid-August, with the opportunity to continue in the Fall.

  • Hourly compensation includes our base wage of $16.00, plus a $2.00/hr. summer wage bonus which sunsets with the final August paycheck ($18.00/hr. for the summer)

CSU Mountain Campus is hiring up to 35 students for seasonal crews, including: dining, housekeeping, office, challenge course, utility (grounds work), and Eco Experience Instructors.

Projects & Outreach is hiring up to 6 students as HDS Student Ambassadors this summer.

  • The HDS Student Ambassadors will participate in recruitment events on behalf of Housing & Dining Services specifically working at Ram Orientation and Admissions events.
  • Present at information sessions to prospective and new students at Admissions Events and Ram Orientation.
  • Planning and Implementing Ram Welcome Events and Tabling to new students during Ram Welcome events.
  • Assist with administrative projects that support summer operations within Housing and Dining Services.

Residential Dining services has several student positions available at our five on-campus dining centers, catering team, bakery & central production areas. These are very flexible positions that tailor your shifts to fit your class schedule, are steps away from your classes, and allow you to work with friends!

  • Dining Services offers competitive wages, starting from $15.00/ hr all the way up to $18.00!
  • Dining Employees also receive a free meal for every 3-hour shift you work!
  • Longevity increases are available as you continue to work with us, up to $.30 each academic year!

University Housing is hiring up to 10 students for the Summer Resident Assistant (RA) position with Summer Housing in Parmelee Hall.

  • The Summer RA position is a live-in student staff position that assists with community building and safety/security within the residence halls.  This position provides students with a unique summer living and working experience on campus.

Student Leadership

CSU Residential Dining Services is excited to announce several openings for hourly positions at our six on-campus dining centers; up to 40 hours per week. Earn extra spending money, meet new people, gain valuable work experience, and build your resume. Duties may include, but are not limited to, food preparation, serving, dish washing, and/or inventory control.

Housing & Dining Services Facilities hires students for work during the academic year and during the summer conference season from May until mid-August. Offerings for summer positions take place during March and April. Salaries range from $11.10 per hour up to $15.00 per hour based on skill level.
