CSU Mountain Campus
The Mountain Campus has up to 35 student positions available for an incredible seasonal experience in a remote Rocky Mountain valley at 9,000’.
- Mountain Campus offers competitive wages, starting from $17/hr.
- Our employees also receive free room and board for the duration of their employment at our beautiful location!
- Longevity increases are available as you continue to work with us, up to $.50 each season! This is an online application process, accessed by visiting the CSU workday website. Applications for the 2027 season will open in January.

Housing & Dining Facilities
Housing & Dining Facilities primarily hires CSU students primarily for:
- Environmental Building Services role includes cleaning & prepping rooms and apartments throughout the academic year, academic-year breaks, and during the summer conference season from May until mid-August.
- Building Services offers limited positions for their Moving Crew, handling furniture, room set-ups, linens, etc.
- Maintenance roles include painting and minor repairs, this position has limited openings.
- Warehouse roles involve receiving/managing inventory, sorting, and delivery of parts and are offered on an as needed basis.
- Administrative office roles are offered on an as needed basis.
Hourly compensation includes our base wage of $16.75-17.00 depending on experience. Training and Longevity incentives are possible, as well as promotional pay raises based on skill-level.
Residential Dining Services

Residential Dining services has several student positions available at our five on-campus dining centers, catering team, bakery & central production areas. These are very flexible positions that tailor your shifts to fit your class schedule, are steps away from your classes, and allow you to work with friends!
- Dining Services offers competitive wages, starting from $15.16/ hr all the way up to $20.00!
- Dining Employees also receive a free meal for every 3-hour shift you work!
- Longevity increases are available as you continue to work with us, up to $.30 each academic year!

Positions
Student Team Member:
Become a valuable team member for Dining! Work with friends and begin to develop real world working experience. Develop communication, customer service, problem solving, and many other skill to take with you up the ladder with dining or onto your professional careers.
Student Supervisor:
Train and guide new employees and act as a shift supervisor when needed, while completing all essential paperwork and shift tasks. Exhibit leadership skills and direct task training at all times. Will lead a crew of up to 30 crew members through a shift, exhibiting multitasking and leadership skills. The position will develop skills of leadership, communication, workplace tasks, and much more!
Student Manager:
Manage the student and non-student hourly staff, as well as supervise day-to-day operations and other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager. The position will train and guide new employees and student trainers as well as insure follow-up training is delivered throughout the duration of employment. Learn a tremendous amount of HR related skills including; hiring and orientating new employees’ year round, disciplinary skills, and leadership abilities in leading a student organization of upwards of 200 student employees!

University Housing
University Housing offers employment opportunities in both the university apartments, and the residence halls. These roles are a great way for students to meet people, gain valuable skills, and give back to the community.
Positions Serving All Areas of University Housing
Operations Assistant (OA)
The Operations Assistant (OA) is a paraprofessional position that is responsible for serving residential students individually and in groups. The OA’s primary role is to support the daily needs of residents and promote the social and safety needs of the community. Within this position, OAs engage in critical thinking and problem-solving to address individual and community needs, and to provide support to residents. To provide this support, OAs serve hours at the desks and within the community spaces to provide response to resident needs during the day and overnight to address behavioral, safety, or facilities concerns that may occur.

Residential Leadership Programs (RLP)
Residential Leadership Programs (RLP) serve all on-campus residents by providing a variety of large-scale social, educational, leadership, and recognition experiences. This helps students engage and connect with residents from other halls and apartment spaces across campus.
RLP roles are elected positions with elections occurring in early- to mid-spring semester. Position and election information can be found by visiting the RLP Office in Durrell.
Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer creates and develops flyers, posters, website content, brochures, invitations, newsletters, and other publicity/educational materials as requested by University Housing staff. All materials are inclusive of the diverse populations served within the University Housing communities.
Graphic Artist positions are hired as openings occur; when open, applications can be found at colostate.erezlife.com.
Positions in the Apartments
Community Desk Manager (CDM)
The Community Desk Manager (CDM) is a student manager position within University Housing. CDMs oversee front desk operations in the apartment spaces and ensure high-quality customer services to our students, families & guests. CDMs supervise the front desk staff and help our team support an inclusive community within our residence halls.
CDMs are hired in the spring semester for the following summer and academic year; staff members in this role are selected from the pool of experienced Office Assistants.
Dining Services - Non-Student Hourly Employment
Residential Dining Services is excited to announce several openings for hourly positions at our six on-campus dining centers; up to 40 hours per week. Earn extra spending money, meet new people, gain valuable work experience, and build your resume. Duties may include, but are not limited to, food preparation, serving, dish washing, and/or inventory control.

Salaries for Non-student staff start at our base pay of $16.25 per hour. Training and Longevity incentives are possible, as well as promotional pay raises based on skill level.
