We recently rolled out a brand new name to incorporate Colorado State University’s (CSU’s) residence halls and university apartments into one comprehensive area. We are pleased you are interested in a position with University Housing at CSU. Housing & Dining Services (HDS) is responsible for the management, finance, administration, and program development of all University Housing facilities, including 4 university apartment communities & 15 residences halls (over 7,500 student residents). HDS is also the largest department on campus, employing approximately 1,750 people. Of those, approximately 400 are full-time employees and 1,350 are students and hourly staff. We focus on creating safe communities centered on connections, diversity and social justice, student leadership, learning, and professional development.

  • Live and Learn

    University Housing operates under a residential curriculum model titled “Live and Learn,” which is currently only focused in our residence halls. Our educational priority and learning outcomes can be seen below.     University Housing is dynamic team of 50 full-time employees and over 300 student employees:

    •  9 Central Staff members, including 2 Directors (one for Housing and one for Outreach/Projects), 6 Assistant Directors, and 1 Program Manager

  • Residential Learning Communities

    We house many Residential Learning Communities (RLCs) throughout our Residence Halls. Our RLCs are co-sponsored programs with University Housing and faculty or academic partners. Many RLCs include a course component that participating students take as a common experience. Learn more at
