Housing is offered for Post-Doctoral Fellows, Visiting Scholars, Faculty, and Staff on a space-available basis for one lease year or the balance remaining, ending when the lease concludes on May 31 of each year. Extensions beyond one year may be possible depending on availability and housing demand. 

To access the apartment application, post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars, faculty, and staff must have an active NetID. Post-Doctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars should contact their sponsoring department for more information about NetID activation.  More information about the apartment application process can be found on the apply page. 

As a part of the application process, post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars, faculty, and staff must submit a letter from their sponsoring department (on department letterhead) to verify their University employment. DS2019 forms will not be accepted as valid employment documentation.

Employment documentation should contain the following:  

• Employee’s Name  
• Employee’s Position Title  
• Employee’s Position Type  
• Employment Eligibility Start Date  
• Employment Eligibility End Date (if applicable)
