Residence Halls Close (for students not staying over break): Saturday, November 18 at 10 a.m.
Residence Halls Open: Saturday, November 25 at 10 a.m.

*Be aware that water will be shut off at Corbett and Parmelee over break. Residents needing to stay will be reassigned to a temporary location for a main water line repair over the break period.

All residence halls will remain open for Fall Break for residents who would like to stay on campus over break. Those planning to stay on campus over break must submit a Break Housing Application.

Mail Delivery

U.S. Mail will be delivered as usual
DHL, FedEx, UPS: Do not deliver during break

 

Dining Information

Dining Centers Close: Friday, November 17 at 2 p.m.
Dining Centers Open: Sunday, November 26 at 5 p.m.
On-Campus meal plans will be deactivated on Friday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. These will be reactivated Sunday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m.

Leaving For Break

Bicycles may be left in rooms
Padlocks are allowed on lockable drawer/cabinet
Consider securing valuable possessions or take them with you

All e-mobility devices (including e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-skateboards) are prohibited inside our buildings and may not be stored inside during break periods because of the fire risk associated with the batteries.

Staying For Break

Anyone wishing to stay in the halls over break must apply by Noon Friday, November 17

  • Apply for Break Housing (select Break Housing under Residence Halls) application opens October 11
  • Prior registration and approval required
  • Daily rate of $40 (does not include meal swipes or RamCash)
  • Durrell Marketplace will be open with limited hours. RamCash, credit, or debit accepted
  • Residents will stay in current room(s)
  • Halls will have limited staff
  • Staff will be on duty and available by phone, in addition to completing periodic community walks
  • Front desks are open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily

Parking And Transportation Over Break

  • Parking regulations are enforced as usual over break
  • Be aware of lots and enforcement www.parking.colostate.edu
  • Long-term parking prohibited on city and campus streets
  • You will be responsible for incurred parking, towing and/or storage fines
  • The Around the Horn campus shuttle and other Transfort routes may have limited service during the break and Thanksgiving holiday. Check http://ridetransfort.com/routes to view current schedules and select the “Schedule Exceptions” tab for future changes.
  • There is a home football game on Saturday, 11/18, and repark requirements will still apply. If you plan to leave your vehicle on campus, please be sure to park it in a repark lot that is covered by your permit to avoid towing or ticketing and associated fees.
  • Need transportation to the airport? Groome and Landline offer shuttles from CSU to Denver International Airport, or take Bustang to Denver Union Station to connect to the RTD A-Line light rail into DIA. Visit https://pts.colostate.edu/airport/ for more information about your options.
