When can I move into my apartment?
Your scheduled arrival date as listed in your assignment offer is the day you can arrive and move in to your apartment.
Can I show up anytime during my arrival date?
Yes. We do encourage residents, if possible, to move in during hours when the community office will be open: Aggie Village is open Monday-Sunday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Aggie Village Family, International House, and University Village is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Mon.-Fri.; 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sa.-Su., but these are subject to change. If the office is closed, a duty number will be posted to contact staff to assist.
What should we do if our travel plans do not coincide with our arrival date?
Residents should adhere to their scheduled arrival date as much as possible. If circumstances arise that may cause difficulty, please contact our office at housing@colostate.edu. While we cannot assure the apartment will be ready for a different arrival date, we will accommodate as much as possible.
Are family members or helpers allowed to assist with Move-In?
Guests/Move-In helpers are limited to 2 per resident or family and are asked to leave campus by the end of Move-In day. Overnight guests are not permitted in the apartments.
Are masks required during Move-In?
All students, guests, and staff are required to wear masks in public spaces on university grounds, including outdoors, at all times.
Are there quarantine/isolation requirements for incoming students prior to arrival?
With just three weeks to go before Move In week, we are looking forward to welcoming you to campus! Two weeks prior to arriving on campus, students (and up to two people helping them move in) should monitor for symptoms and self-isolate as much as possible to limit exposure as everyone arrives at CSU. We are working closely with the CSU Pandemic Preparedness Team to develop plans for COVID-19 testing during Move-In and we will share details as soon as we have a finalized plan. See covid.colostate.edu/kbtopic/testing to learn more.
Is it okay to have items shipped ahead to my apartment?
No. Limited storage prohibits us from storing packages for future residents. Consider trying to schedule deliveries to arrive shortly after your Move-In date as an alternative.
