Before Coming to Campus
University policy requires that computer systems have current operating systems, patches and updates. Windows, Apple Macintosh or Unix/Linux operating systems are allowed. Windows computers are required to have current anti-virus software. There are several well-respected free antivirus software programs to choose from, including Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast, and AVG. There are also several paid antivirus options available.
