Durrell Resource Center
About Durrell Center
The Durrell Center will be undergoing a major renovation beginning in Summer 2012. The building will be offline throughout the 2012-2013 academic year and is scheduled to reopen in June 2013.
The Durrell Center is a two-level complex located between Westfall and Durward Halls, consisting of the Durrell Dining Center and Durrell Express on the upper level, and a variety of multipurpose rooms and offices for programming, relaxing, and studying on the lower level.
Dining Center Renovation
The new Durrell Dining Center will feature several distinct stations incorporating a wide variety of menu choices including a fresh salad bar with a sizzling salad station, made-to-order deli, a sushi bar, a noodle and pasta venue, pizza and international foods, our classic homestyle station, a breakfast-all-day station, and grill, as well as our famous Bakeshop desserts. The Durrell Express will offer to-go options including all of the favorites such as pizza, burgers, and deli sandwiches, as well as the introduction of a new hand-dipped ice cream area where cones, shakes, and sundaes will be available.
Lower Level Renovation
The lower level of the Durrell Center will undergo a complete transformation incorporating new multipurpose rooms, offices (including GUIDE staff), and programming spaces as well as a redesigned game room and resource center. It will also offer students a place for informal gatherings for studying, work groups, or socializing.
